| Ann CONNER,, Ann Conner was born in Wilmington, NC, in 1948. She received a B.F.A. from Salem College, Winston-Salem, NC and an M.A. and M.F.A. in painting from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also studied painting in Asolo, Italy. Currently, Conner lives and works in Wilmington, NC and collaborated with Katherine Brimberry of Flatbed Press, Austin, TX, who publishes her woodcuts, and Leslie Miller of The Grenfell Press, New York, NY. Conner has participated in many group shows including invitational exhibitions such as: The Random and the Ordered, International Print Center New York; New Prints, International Print Center New York; Three Texas Printmakers, Arlington Museum of Art, Arlington, TX; and Eastern Influence: Western Artists Incorporating Eastern Iconography, Amarillo Museum of Art, Amarillo, TX. Her work is also represented in the permanent collections of The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA; California Palace of the Legion of Honor, San Francisco, CA; New York Public Library, New York, NY; Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA; The Library of Congress, Washington, DC; Credit Suisse First Boston, London, England; and Louise Wells Cameron Art Museum, Wilmington, NC.
